Gribelin Nicolas
1637-1719
Nicolas Gribelin (1637-1719) was born in Blois. He moved to Paris where, master from 1676, he became Horloger du Dauphin. Linked to the research in watchmaking of Jean Hautefeuille (1647-1724), he obtained several of his cases from Boulle. Among his clients, he counts the Prince of Condé, the Duke of Montfort, the Princess of Conty, the Archbishop of Besançon and d’Artagnan.
