Lerolle frères

1813-1875

Louis Lerolle (1813-1875) sold his bronze foundry to his sons, Édouard-François and Camille in 1849, who then became Lerolle frères. At the 1849 Exhibition of Agricultural and Industrial Products, they won a silver medal. They took part in the famous exhibitions of the second half of the 19th century, particularly the Universal Exhibition of 1867. Most of their decorative art creations, especially clocks, strongly reflect a taste for the sculptural aspect.
