Maurice Bouval

Maurice Bouval is a French sculptor of Art Nouveau style. A student of Alexandre Falguière, Maurice Bouval created a large number of bronze statues and decorative objects (candlesticks, candelabras, lamps, inkwells) between 1880 and the First World War. He participated in the Universal Exhibition of 1900 in Paris. He is a member of the Society of French Artists. Among his works, we note : Ophélie, Femme assis, Le Sommeil, Femme aux poppies, Le Secret and La Pensive.
