IMPORTANT Navette cup – manufacture barbedienne

Exceptional big-bellied navette cup in red griotte marble with a very rich decoration of engraved and gilded bronze. Square base with pedestal underlined with a frieze of bronze gadroons.
The body has a pattern of acanthus leaves and two large handles with a ram’s head. Fluted collar and friezes of hanging garlands.

Signed F. Barbedienne on bronze.
