Louis XIV gilded bronze chandelier
Following a model designed by André-Charles Boulle
Large living room chandelier in engraved and gilded bronze, Louis XIV style.
Openwork barrel of a twisted baluster vase and inserted in its centre, it rests on a base supporting eight arms of lights with foliage ending with drip pans and bobeches decorated with acanthus leaves. Decor with leafy rinceau, shells and florets.
French work produced in the second half of the XIX century 1870-1880.
Following a model designed by Charles André Boulle around 1715.
