Neo-Greek style planter and vases – Barbedienne Manufacture

Magnificent table-top in silver-plated and gilded bronze.
Fine decor in Ancient Greek style embellished with masks of women and philosophers, a lion’s head, claw-shaped feet and palmettes. It includes an oval-shaped flowerpot with four legs and a pair of crystal cone vases manufactured by Baccarat.

French work presented at the Universal Exhibition of Paris of 1867.
