Pair of potpourri vases – Manufacture de Sèvres

Very beautiful pair of potpourri vases with lids, openwork, in Sèvres porcelain on a large blue background with rural scene decorations in the style of Lancret, and floral scenes framed by ruby red and white polychrome enamelled cabochons on a gold lace background. Lids painted with garland decorations of intertwined flowers and gilded lace.
Beautifully embellished in engraved and gilded bronze with motifs of lion’s muzzles with rings, rosettes, a pinecone and four flared feet with palmettes.
