Set of ten chairs in Louis XV – Louis XVI Transition style
Set of ten dining room chairs in Louis XV – Louis XVI transition style, in carved and gilded wood.
Cabriolet-shaped, curved and moulded backrest richly framed with rais-de-cœur and underlined by a twisted openwork ribbon. It is attached to a circular seat by two uprights with acanthus leaf motifs.
Circular hollowed-out middle with an interlacing frieze, joined by connecting ribbing and supported by four console legs with acanthus windings. Feet inspired by Georges Jacob’s invention.
Covered in Moroccan red leather with studs.
