Venus and Cupid by Maubach ADOLPH
Beautiful bronze sculpture with light brown patina and enhanced with gilding, representing Venus, her breast is exposed, and she pulls back her hair adorned with a rose. A hanging quiver stands upright and leans against a low wall. Two winged cupids spin around at her feet and pull on her tunic. Apsidal plinth with a moulded base.
Signed: MAUBACH.
French work around 1890-95.
