Exceptional and striking Hall torch, in bronze with brown patina depicting a bust of a woman in antique drapery, adorned with jewels, on a triangular shaft and supporting an Ionic capital on her head, emitting four urns of light surmounted by a flame in frosted glass. Adorned with a garland of flowers in the middle and supported at the base by a winged cupid. The tripod base is finished with griffins’ heads, on claw feet.
French work from the second half of the XIX century.
Model exhibited at The International Exposition of 1867, in the art bronzes gallery in the Maison Moreau section, bronze caster.
