Exceptional formal console table by François Linke

Exceptional and unique console in gilded bronze and openwork polished steel, inspired by Louis XV style. The middle frieze is decorated with wreaths of roses and chrysanthemums, and rests on four lattice legs, with volutes, plentifully mounted with floral garlands. Strut jointed at the centre by a young Neptune holding a trident in his hand and riding a dolphin in a decoration of reeds. Louis XV gilt bronze hooved feet.
