Large pair of Louis XV Candlesticks
Luxurious pair of large candlesticks in engraved and gilded bronze, the twisted shaft is decorated with three cupids resting on the rinceau with foliage, framing the coat of arms from the Boisgelin family.
Bobeches with fastenings and leaves on amatis backgrounds. Base with twisted grooves, underlined with an acanthus leaf frieze, a shell and waves of water.
French work in Louis XV style, produced in the late XIX century around 1890.
Inspired by a model from Juste Aurèle Meissonnier (1695-1750)
