Pendulum The Rape of Europa
Large pendulum clock mounted on a bull in engraved and gilded bronze with a bronze and brown patina.
The enamel dial is signed “Brulfer à Paris”, flanked by branches and surmounted by a woman with a cymbal and Cupid. It is supported on the back of a bull on an openwork rockery base with two Cupids which adorn it with flowers.

French work around 1880. Period of Napoleon III.
