Magnificent plant pot in Imari porcelain with a very rich decoration of engraved and gilded bronze.
Octagonal body with a blue background, depicting a large and lively sanctuary of grey cranes. Large and eye-catching handles adorned with natural Typha. Four-footed base with winding acanthus leaves.
Imari porcelain.
Bronze mounting from Manufacture Escalier de Cristal.
French work around 1880. Period of Napoleon III.
