Potpourris in red griotte marble
DASSON Henry
Pair of potpourris in red griotte marble, openwork, tripod shape in gilded bronze arched with three lion’s muzzles, joined by a small chain. The central part rests on three feet finished with lion’s paws placed on a base with moulded cut-outs on the plinth and acanthus leaf motifs.
Lid supports a pinecone in gilded bronze at its centre.
French work from the second half of the XIX century around 1870-1880.
Louis XVI style.
Attributed to Henry Dasson.
