Rare pair of candlesticks in finely engraved and gilded bronze with quadrangular shaft with ivory plaques decorated with flowering.
Topped with the amortization of an antique vase with motifs of waterleaves and bow ribbons. Ogee bases decorated with ivory plaques inlaid with various delicate wood inlays and decorated with flowering and leafy branches. Frames with palmettes. Toupie styled feet.
Signed Giroux and Ferdinand Duvinage on the bobeche.
French work from the second half of the 19th century, around 1860-1880.
