Set of four Louis XVI style queen-style armchairs, model known as “chapeau de gendarme”, in beige lacquered wood and gilded strips, supported by four tapered, fluted and ringed feet. Rounded middle on the façade, right side crosspiece with rais-de-cœur motifs and connected with flower motifs. Supporting armrests with covers finished with volutes on a fluted cube, attached to the backrest and located in the same vertical structure as the feet. Backrest in the shape of a shield, carved with pearls and rosary garlands. Swirls of acanthus leaves on both sides. Reupholstered with emerald green silk velvet.

French work by Maison Jansen in Paris from the first half of the 20th century, around 1930.
