SET OF FOUR LARGE LOUIS XVI STYLE WALL LIGHTS
Important set of four large Louis XVI style wall lights, model in the shape of a lyre, in engraved and gilded bronze.
Body of wall lamp with sculpted patterns, flanked by olive branches and arched with a rosette in its centre, light branch with acanthus leaves. Five more fluted and twisted light branches on two levels, sheathed in acanthus leaves and finished with beaded bobeches and drip pans.
Upper part of the lyre with patterns of eagle heads, below a ribbon surmounted by an intricate bow, which enables it to be attached to a wall. The wall lamp is finished with falling oak and acanthus leaves.
French work from the second half of the 19th century, around 1880.
